Turns out that it takes a nearly Herculean effort to understand the gibberish I stick up here. (My sincere congratulations to all my long-time readers! Go tell your kids your new status. I'll wait.)

First off, I'd like to thank my daughter who seems to have sucked all the "normal" brain cells right out of my head.
Second, I would like to point out that this blog probably derives its Genius status from the plethora of words that the little engine couldn't make out (Lo Gung, BBJ, etc.). So, to the Chinese Language - thank you. Turns out my father in law was right when he teased Lo Gung and I at our wedding: Crossing a Chinese (super smart) with a Caucasian (arguably stronger and bigger and healthier) will result in a Super Being (BBJ). (Just writing about her takes a Genius to understand!)
Finally, I'd like to leave you all with this little admonition, that has made all the difference in my life: (read yesterday on a church billboard)
"Read the Bible - it will scare the Hell right out of you."
